Unscientific research from all over the world reports that the humble little zipper pouch is one of the most powerful tools for a more organized life.
Each padded pouch is a portable, personalized way to organize your purse, your briefcase, or your frantic morning rush to get out the door on time.
And that’s not all!
A brightly-colored pouch is a helpful way to help locate the loose things that rattle around in the bottom of your big bag, making you frustrated, and leaving you fumbling around for your car keys or change for a cold drink from the vending machine.
Tired of comments from your friends about the lost objects in the depths of your purse? Impress your skeptical lunch companions with the lightning-fast production of your currency or debit card as you wait in the fast-food line!
There are dozens of uses for zipper pouches:
Carry your essentials in a stylish pouch that reflects YOUR individual taste AND simplifies your life. Use a zipper pouch to accessorize, organize, and carry on with your life!

An article I wrote for examiner.com on selecting high-quality quilting fabric. Yes, there is a big difference!
An article I wrote for examiner.com about a very cool site called Spoonflower.com, where crafters can design, print, and sell their own fabric designs.
Book review: ‘Creating Your Perfect Quilting Space- Sewing Room Makeovers for Any Space & Any Budget’
I cannot say enough good things about this book. It has some great ideas for organizing the messiest of sewing spaces. If you are like me, you spend a lot of time organizing the large fabric stash, and then it gradually turns into a jumbled mess after searching for just the right blender fabric, etc. When inspiration strikes, the result is a slightly less organized collection of fabric, until it eventually gets to the total chaos stage.
This book also has some wonderful makeovers of actual quiting studios, and details all the steps taken from beginning to end. Hmmm- wonder if I can convince my significant other to turn our 3-car garage into a quilting studio?
Posted today on the examiner.com- a profile of local quilt artist Julie Brown Neu. I met Julie a few years ago at a craft show in Otis Massachusetts, and we had tables next to each other. She is a great person, and a wonderful quilter who does beautiful work!
