My name is Wendy, and I live in rural western Massachusetts. I am self-taught quilter, and have completed 6 full and queen size quilts, mostly hand-quilted. In the 40-plus years that I have been sewing, I once calculated that I have logged over 20,000 hours of sewing time, and the ever-expanding fabric stash is taking over the house! Both my etsy and ArtFire  Bags of a Feather shops offer a wide variety of fabric creations, including tote bags, zipper pouches, pouches, coasters, and wristlets. My inspiration comes from the birds and natural world around us, and I love working with colorful prints and batik fabrics. I have over 100 bird-themed fabrics in my collection, and would love to work with you to create something that suits your tastes. Parrots are a special interest of mine, and we share our home with 4 birds, including a budgie and Blue & Gold Macaw. A portion of all sales will be donated to avian welfare organizations.
